We are architectural designers. When we were looking for creative ways to support the numerous climate activists and environmental scientists who work day and night in the fight against climate change, we thought to ourselves - how can we design to raise awareness?

This curated collection is a statement of our concerns about climate change and our personal pledge to battle it. Every pendant is a story of life. It voices our concerns for the environment and the ecosystem we all depend on. Furthermore, it enables an essential part of our basic human values - to provide equity and justice for every being.  

In 2012, a research paper titled "Enclothed Cognition" was published on Journal of Experimental Social Psychology by Professor Hajo Adam from Rice University and Professor Adam D. Galinsky from Columbia Business School. The study provides the "first explicit evidence for the vital role of symbolic meanings in the influence of physical experience on cognitive process." In their on-going experiments, the scientists found that if a person wears a white coat that's believed to be a doctor's coat, that person's ability to pay attention becomes much sharper.

In other words, what we wear could affect not only what we think, but how we think. If what we wear can increase a person's cognitive process, then we believe these pendants, charged with meaningful messages through its design, could carry its weight and have a positive influence on ourselves and the people around us.

What we do every day, large or small, matters because it affects more than ourselves.

That's why we want to share this beautifully designed collection with you.

Design is a powerful means of communication, and what we wear should represent more than our style.

Therefore, in the spirit of democracy and equity for all beings, we transform our voice and passion for environmental protection into a curated pendant collection representing our concerns for the environment and our determination to combat climate change. Although this collection represents only a tiny fraction of threatened and endangered animals around the world, we sincerely hope they would be a daily reminder of the environmental threat we are facing and encourage more people to act upon it persistently.
